Set within a valley, it is almost totally flat but with a variety of trees and water obstacles (the canals and lakes which provide the irrigation) lining most fairways, La Sella presents some excellent driving situations and fast greens.
This is a private club with restricted membership but is friendly to visitors who are allowed to play and use the well-appointed clubhouse. Facilities include driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. There is also a clubhouse with club bar, a lounge bar and a restaurant.

Oliva Nova

Tel: 96 285 5962
Fax: 96 578 0766
The Oliva Nova club is 18 hole, par 72, of 6,602 yards, is excellent – flat, easy to get around and fair. There is plenty of well-placed water, but does not have hidden tricks, leading to a satisfying round if you play well enough.
There are often several ways to play each hole – a factor attributed to the designer, Seve Ballesteros. He has made a relatively flat terrain exciting. The length and pace of the holes have you clubbing with every option, again a feature of clever design. Facilities include a clubhouse, covered driving range, buggy hire, hand trolley hire, pitching and putting greens, practice bunker, tuition, club repair, club rental, pro-shop, bar, tennis court and showers.

Mountain Walking
The Costa Blanca mountains are ideal for year-round walking. However the best time for walking is March to May and September and October when the temperatures are cooler.
The Costa Blanca's mountains, with their dark rugged silhouettes, dominate this landscape - an irresistible attraction for walkers.
Drive just a short distance inland from the Costa Blanca beaches, and you will find market gardens, orchards and orange groves, filled with wild herbs and flowers, from daisies to exotic orchids.
The fertile valleys are smothered in blossom or sweet-scented fruit and you will come across delightful inland villages. Windmills, waterfalls and 'snow wells' feature among the picnic settings.
